The challenge
The 1970s home had an aging structure with several layers of old cladding to remove — a rigorous inspection before installation was essential to ensure nothing was hidden under the new cladding.
Seamlessly integrating ACM panels, Mac Métal steel, and existing brick elements required precise planning of transitions and junctions between materials.
Our approach
After removing the old cladding and inspecting the structure, we installed protective flashing above all windows, doors, and junctions — a critical step for long-term weatherproofing per GCR standards.
ACM composite panels were installed on the main facade for a contemporary architectural effect. Mac Métal steel cladding completed the horizontal sections, and aluminium trim unified the whole with the existing brick elements.
