The challenge
The Lachine building was operational during the work — a major logistical constraint.
Access to certain facades was also limited by fixed industrial equipment, requiring specialized equipment and tight coordination with the client.
Our approach
The jobsite strategy was organized to work facade by facade in rotation, always maintaining access to loading docks. Safety nets were installed to protect ground-level activities.
Ideal Roofing Laurentien corrugated steel was chosen for its resistance to industrial environments and speed of installation. The new rigid insulation significantly improved the building's thermal performance.
