Canexel Ridgewood in Barista on a backyard shed

The challenge

The owner wanted a pool house look for the shed at the back of his yard, next to the pool, in a warm colour.

The schedule was tight: the other trades on site had their slots booked down to the day, and our work had to fit in without holding them up.

Our approach

The material and colour were chosen with the owner. Canexel Ridgewood gives the look of wood without the upkeep of natural wood, and the Barista shade brings the warm tone he wanted for his yard.

The air barrier and furring strips went on first, then the siding, horizontally, with hidden nails. Aluminum trim frames the garage door, the entry door and the windows. The work followed the owner's requests and the other trades' schedule.
